Nutan left us 25 years ago today. Here's a tribute to the actress who now shines from high above: I have simply selected some unpublished photos of her (well, perhaps not all), and hoped that some of you would enjoy seeing them. First a selection of non-film pictures (scroll sideways):

There's something out of the world about her beauty. It's not skin deep. Its deeper than that. It shows a beautiful soul. Everytime I see her, I feel like fixated and feel a warm sense of peace inside me. Something divine. And I can't take my eyes off. This is where I found most other "beautiful" actresses were only beautiful to the skin. I looked at them for sometime and as it happens usually, I felt I had looked enough. But not in Nutan's case....I read in some article that her hands smelled of chandan oil all the time.

You're right! Thanks again for this very pleasant message.<br /> Nutan's beauty does indeed reveal much more than the surface charm of a pleasant face. She has this particular gift of being able (through not effort of hers - it's her purity) of reverberating her soul on her face, and in the depth of her eyes, there is the grace which we are all looking for during this passage of ours on the Earth. This phenomenon is probably shared by other beings, but what was really incredible is that she managed to transmit it in the very superficial world of cinema!

Lovely photos, Yves. Which film is the 'Hear the melody of the heart' screenshot from? She looks beautiful there, but unlike several of the other screenshots - which I can identify - I couldn't recognize this one.
